Flight Operations Manager

Aviation Advisor, Inc. is searching for a highly motivated Flight Operations Manager to join our team! This is a direct supervisory position for a team of (5+) schedulers/dispatchers and is considered a high level management position within the organization.  This position reports directly to the Director of Operations.  For the selected candidate we will provide the opportunity for growth, a generous benefit package, and a professional environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

•Serve as a direct supervisory point of contact for the Flight Operations Department.

•Prepare, organize and implement team shift schedules to ensure 24/7/365 operations are maintained. 

•Assists the Director of Operations in establishing regulatory and non-regulatory standards for Aviation Advisor, Inc. Charter and Owner flight procedures.

•Collaborates with the Director of Operations and Chief Pilot regarding flight crew personnel assignments, training and schedules.

•Implement, review and revise current company operations and training manuals to ensure all team members receive proper resources and recurrent training.

•Responsible for all aspects of Charter Sales and Flight Following.

•Work in coordination with all departments within the organization to ensure seamless execution of all flight operations functions.

•Receive and provide timely and accurate quotes for charter requests by retail clients and/or other operators or brokers.

•Maintain strict confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

•Work to analyze operational factors and restrictions that may affect the successful completion of a flight to our Clients during the initial quoting phase (weather, runway capacity, aircraft performance, airport hours, crew duty).

•Proactively seek charter opportunities for a diverse fleet of aircraft.

•Maintain an attitude of total customer service focused on anticipating the Clients’ needs and exceeding their expectations.

•Maintain strict confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

-Supervisory experience or department leadership

-2 to 5 years of applicable work experience

-Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment

-Detail-oriented with superb organizational skills

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Proficient in MS Office

-Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced setting
